Open Enrollment Checklist

Complete this checklist, read the Benefit Guide, and understand your options to make an informed decision about your benefit elections in 2026.

YOUR OPEN
ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST

Open Enrollment for 2026 is passive. Unless you make changes, your current elections will automatically roll over into 2026, with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Don't miss this opportunity during Open Enrollment to review your benefits and make sure they're still the right fit for you and your family.

Understand how your health plan works. Do you have the right medical, dental, and vision coverage?

Take advantage of spending accounts. If you wish to participate in Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), you must enroll each year.

Consider voluntary life, AD&D or short-term disability to add additional protection should you need it in the coming year. Review the new tax option on the long-term disability plan.

Review your cost of coverage. You can view your contribution rates based on your coverage level when you log onto bswift.

Access bswift and enroll by November 7. If you are a new hire, you will need to enroll for both 2025 and 2026 benefits.

When in bswift, be sure to review your dependent information and be sure to make any updates.
